Thought On Shelf Life Of Skills

There's a certain shelf life to the information we gather. Whether it is through the print or online media, or through social interactions -- everything has a shelf life --- unless, it is applied from time to time. In which case it withers and decays at a slower rate. And not just information, but skills too.
Point being, that everything fades away. What is new and important today, becomes old and irrelevant tomorrow.
What you don't use, you lose.
The only thing to hold on to, is an attitude of learning.
