The brand of any organisation is an aggregation of the personal brands of its team members, especially the leadership team š·ļø
It was true in the pre-digital world, and is more true now.
Which is why, having a general guidance at an organisational level on how team members should engage in their personal capacity is an important guard rail for the organisation.
An example from the childcare space -
If you're a preschool brand, it's important that your directors and centre leaders have a good presence on the right platforms. This could be community forums, local industry events, webinars, or maybe even LinkedIn.
A curriculum director shows her expertise on the relevant curriculum related platforms, while an operations director engages in forums that are likewise relevant. Notice that the personal brands are not limited to the digital landscape.
Their individual presence increases your preschool brand's overall awareness in the space in a wholesome fashion. šæ
